Jack and the Beanstalk Pantomime Review by Sophia Cowan (Voice Community) On Thursday 20th of December 2018, I attended the pantomime at Liverpool's Empire Theatre to watch 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. I was really looking forward to going, as I knew it would be a lot of fun, especially the costumes and scenery.
A fairy tale character is about to flunk out of fairy tale school. Jack must perform a heroic deed by Monday or fail just like his father before him. He sells his Computer of Wonder for a handful of magic beans and a mysterious book. Accompanied by his sidekick Grayson, Jack climbs the magic beanstalk to recover the fabled Harp of Destiny from the evil giant who lives in the sky.
